Solid set of stands

These stands are great. They're reassuringly heavy and well built. They have some fancy weld work that lets you know these things have been tested extensively. I had the engine end of my car up on these two stands, held easily while I changed motor and gearbox oil. Would absolutely recommend these. Remember folks, NEVER trust a jack with your life, get the right tool for the job

Foot corners have support plates

Many stands like this have the 1/4 plate edges on the bottom that must be on concrete (or they sink into dirt very easily). These have plates welded on each corner to give much better support even on soft surfaces. These also come with rubber pads for the car contact points to avoid bending soft car body parts. For anyone wanting to do their own car work a set like this should be in their collection of tools.

Excellent jack stands for the price

These appear to be of much better build quality than a number of comparable stands in this price category. At an asking price of $34 for a set (or $17 each) I think they are a really good buy. When extended full length they don't have an objectionable amount of lateral play. I wish the base was a bit wider but it too is comparable to competing brands. The action on the locking mechanism is fine and it also has a locking pin to doubly secure the setting.

Does what is says

I like this product mostly because it's a great price point for what you get. It can withstand a lot of weight and the lock feature gives you sense of security. They come in real handy especially for car enthusiasts that love to tinker. Would recommend.
